Though many of the places are a bit too small to plan an overseas trip around, some of them just about are, and there are many, many places I would like to see more pictures of.
There is nothing wrong with that, I am just left wondering how my local library system ended up with a copy though. I first had an inkling that this was the case when I came across various dialect phrases of obtuse meaning in some of the location write-ups, and an inspection of the book confirmed that it has no publication or distribution information for outside the UK. Part of the issue I have may be that it is very much a book written by and for locals. Which is to say that I don't quite get selection criteria the author of this book used, but when he gets it right it is worth seeing.
